3.1. Abandoned creatures
Players may not leave creatures unattended. If an abandoned creature is not near or inside its owner's homestead and it causes trouble for other players, the owner must be punished.
Example: leaving a creature out to farm XP while it attacks a creature someone else is trying to tame — and other similar actions.
Penalties: 1st time — a warning (in some cases no warning is given); 2nd time — the abandoned creatures are deleted; 3rd time — every abandoned creature on the map belonging to the violator is deleted.
3.2. Cloning another player's creatures
Players may not clone another player's creature without the owner's permission. If the owner reports it, whoever cloned without permission must be punished.
Example: borrowing someone's creature and secretly cloning it without asking the owner — and other similar actions.
Penalties: 1st time — a warning (in some cases no warning is given); 2nd time — a permanent ban, and everything belonging to the violator is removed.
3.3. Claiming another player's creature from the auto-decay system
The server automatically decays the creatures of players who have been offline past a set period: every creature carries a countdown, and when it expires the creature is unclaimed from its owner and any player may claim it. Unclaimed decayed creatures are deleted on the next server restart.
Players may not build anything that blocks others from reaching a creature that is unclaimed or close to decaying, and may not harass players who are waiting to claim one.
While players wait to claim a near-decay creature, situations can arise that risk future conflict — many players waiting on the same creature; several tribemates teaming up on a claim against a solo player; or anything similar that makes the claiming unfair or the shares unequal. In such conflict-risk cases, any player may report the creature — a picture plus its LAT, LON, and MAP — and the server administrator will delete the near-decay creature so that no one gets it. Such reports are accepted once the creature is within its final 2 days before decay.
If a near-decay creature is blocked, or the claiming is disrupted, by any player or tribe, that player or tribe must be punished.
Examples of violations:
- Building over a near-decay creature so no one else can claim it
- Throwing masses of explosives at the moment a creature unclaims so nearby players lag and cannot claim
- Mass-building in a crowded claiming spot and demolishing it to crash nearby players
- Dragging wild creatures in to attack the near-decay creature so others cannot claim it
- Other similar actions
Penalties: 1st time — a warning (in some cases no warning is given); 2nd time — every structure and creature on the map belonging to the violator is deleted; 3rd time — a permanent ban, and everything belonging to the violator is removed.
