ASA mods are installed inside the game through its own CurseForge mod browser; ASA is not supported in the CurseForge app. The required list depends on the selected map and can change with events or updates. Read the list shown when you select the server; Join downloads its missing required mods, which can take several minutes.
The reports point at a damaged local mod folder, login timeouts or outages on CurseForge's side, and a mod version that differs between the server and your game. Studio Wildcard has fixed several of these: v75.26 (27/11/2025) fixed "an issue where players were occasionally unable to join modded servers or browse mods" and expanded "the login-check window for CurseForge to reduce timeouts"; since v66.45 the game clears duplicate versions of the same mod; earlier patches fixed crashes with out-of-date mods (36.18), a start-up crash (54.8) and a crash with one specific mod (73.15). "Not enough space in mod storage" (ASAIR-470) and the unpurchased premium mod (ASAIR-413) are open user reports on the official tracker, with no fix announced.
The steps below are what players reported, not official procedures. Go in order and stop when it works.

Ask an admin when downloads fail only on our maps or a required mod repeatedly crashes your game, and name the map and mod.
Tell an admin the map, the time (the clock in your profile menu shows the server's time), your character's name, what you carried or had uploaded, and the exact message on the screen.
