Stuck inside rock, a structure or under the map

You can't move after a dismount, a teleport or a login, or you fall under the terrain and keep dying there.
ASA: a black screen when joining while your survivor stands inside your base, or being placed under rock after dismounting a Desmodus (2026 reports).

These are collision faults and false alarms of the game's own anti-mesh protection. ASA has fixed several false anti-mesh detections: players dying to it while climbing on player-placed structures (55.0, 30/10/2024), along the south and east map boundary of Astraeos (64.2, 01/04/2025), and in areas of some Astraeos boss arenas (94.7, 30/09/2026). New cases are still reported: on 02/11/2026 a player was placed underground after dismounting a Desmodus.

The base game gives every survivor a way out. The implant in your inventory has a "Respawn" feature, and how often you may use it is the server setting ImplantSuicideCD: 28,800 seconds (8 hours) by default. This cluster's value is not published, so ask an admin if you need it.

Use the implant's Respawn option: open your inventory, hover over the implant for about 5 seconds and click "Respawn".
Know the cost first: you die where you are stuck, and your items stay on the body there. Then follow the guide You died and can't find your body, or the bag and its items are gone. On ASA, the Recovery Stone from the AP: Death Recovery mod returns the items from your latest death wherever the body lies.
ASA, a black screen with your survivor inside your base: in a reply to one such report, Studio Wildcard's support suggested having someone kill your survivor so it respawns outside the base. On a PvE map other players cannot damage you, so on our maps ask an admin instead.
If your body is out of reach, note the map, your position (LAT/LON) and the time for the admin.

Ask when the implant cannot help (a black screen, a cooldown still running) or when your body and items are out of reach. An admin can confirm your position from the saves and, if a fault took your items, may restore them from a backup made before the loss; see the guide Asking for a restore. Moving a character with server tools is the owner's decision.

Tell an admin the map, the time (the clock in your profile menu shows the server's time), your character's name, what you carried or had uploaded, and the exact message on the screen. For a transfer: both maps and both times. Report the same day — the backups reach back only about two days. Contact admin is in your profile menu; the Guides page has a question box.

Keep the game updated: the known false anti-mesh detections were patched in 55.0, 64.2 and 94.7.
ASA: keep a Recovery Stone at your base, so a forced respawn does not cost you your gear.
